Unbossing Experiment #1: AI-Profiling Manager

2025-11-24

Today’s experiment is inspired by — or honestly, copied from — a blind post I saw. Someone shared how they programmed a mouse mover to stay “online” even over weekends to look hard-working, while quietly reverse-engineering their manager, doing only what the manager actually cares about, using AI for the mundane work, using AI for designs, and finding the right people to share credit with so projects get done smoothly.

The best part?
Using AI to profile the manager and generate points for status updates and 1:1s.
Peak corporate optimization.

Inspired by this, I’m going to start using company-approved AI to build a manager profile based on what mine says and clearly cares about — since I’m never good at decoding hidden implications. I’ll feed in relevant work information to prioritize tasks, automate as much execution as possible, and then generate progress updates for the ever-increasing number of scrum meetings.

I’ll report back in about a week on how this experiment goes.
